Award Four (4) Scholarships, each worth LKR 30,000/- Criteria
1. Should not be a recipient of Mahapola Scholarships. 2. Should have performed well at the Entrance/ Preliminary, Intermediate Examinations in October last year. 3. Should not be able to finance himself/herself at Law College. 4. Should not be more than 28 years of age on January 01 of the particular year.
Award Hostel fees, Food money for one year Criteria
1. Should be a hosteller of Law College. 2. Should have passed the entrance examination on the 1st occasion. Should have passed the entrance examination on the first attempt.
Award The value of the Scholarship is LKR 5,000/-. Criteria
1. Should not be more than 28 years of age as of January 01 of the particular year. 2. Should have performed well at the Law College Entrance Examination. 3. Should not be recipients of Mahapola or any other Scholarships.

These scholarships are awarded based on students’ academic performance( merit based), extracurricular activities and their financial status.
The Sri Lanka Law College functions under the Incorporated Council of Legal Education (under the Incorporated Council of Legal Education Ordinance No.2 of 1900 as amended) to administer legal education to persons who desire to be enrolled as an Attorney-at-Law in the Supreme Court of Sri Lanka.
