1. Should not be more than 28 years of age on January 01 of the particular year. 2. Demonstrated academic aptitude. 3. Requires financial support for their studies at Law College (i.e. where a student does not have parental/independent financial support).
Award The value of the Scholarship is LKR 5,000/- Criteria
1. Should not be more than 28 years of age on January 01 of the particular year. 2. Should have done well in the Law College General Entrance Examination. 3. Should not be recipients of Mahapola Scholarships.

Award The scholarship covers lecture fees, hostel fees, food expenses, and the cost of books and stationery for one year. Criteria
1. Should have performed well in the Preliminary Examination in October, last year. 2. Should be a resident outside of Colombo, preferably in a rural area. 3. Should reside in the hostel during the year of scholarship.
Award Four (4) Scholarships, each worth LKR 5,750/- Criteria
1. Should be permanent residents of the Kurunegala District. 2. Should not be recipients of Mahapola Scholarships.
Award The value of the Scholarship is LKR 2,500/- Criteria
1. Should not be more than 28 years of age on January 01 of the particular year. 2. Should have done well in the Law College General Entrance Examination. 3. Should be permanent residents of the Kalutara Administrative District.

These scholarships are awarded based on students’ academic performance( merit based), extracurricular activities and their financial status.
The Sri Lanka Law College functions under the Incorporated Council of Legal Education (under the Incorporated Council of Legal Education Ordinance No.2 of 1900 as amended) to administer legal education to persons who desire to be enrolled as an Attorney-at-Law in the Supreme Court of Sri Lanka.
