LAW STUDENTS’ UNION

The Law Students’ Union (LSU) serves as the primary student body at Sri Lanka Law College, comprising elected representatives from the student body. Engaging in various extracurricular activities including sports and social events, the LSU has been an integral part of the College community since its establishment in 1894 under the presidency of Sir Ponnambalam Ramanathan. Initially, the presidency of the LSU was held by a senior lawyer, but over time, this position transitioned to law students elected by the students.
